Domestic Abuse & Young Men
Young men need earlier education, honest conversations and better support around relationships, control and violence. Use this template to ask for stronger prevention.
Domestic abuse is often discussed after serious harm has already happened, but prevention must start earlier. Young men need clear education around respect, control, coercion, emotional regulation, online influence, masculinity, relationships and the impact of violence on partners, families and children.
This issue is not about blaming all young men. It is about recognising that more needs to be done before harmful attitudes and behaviours become normal. Kulturalism® believes prevention should include honest conversations, better relationship education, community support, positive role models and early intervention.
Use this issue to ask your MP or local decision-makers to support stronger domestic abuse prevention work with young men and boys.
