3. How you can use our content

Permission requests: info@kulturalism.org. We routinely say yes to community, educational and public-sector use.
5. Artificial intelligence and text and data mining
Kulturalism CIC expressly reserves all rights in its content for the purposes of text and data mining, web scraping, and the development or training of artificial intelligence systems.
No content on this website or in our publications may be used to train, fine-tune, ground, retrieve for, or otherwise develop any machine learning model, language model or dataset — commercial or non-commercial — without our prior written licence.
This reservation is made expressly and is not waived by the content being publicly accessible. Automated access for these purposes is not authorised.
6. Third-party material
Images and design. Some images and design elements on this website come from the Wix licensed image library or another third-party provider. These are not owned by Kulturalism CIC and must be used in accordance with the relevant licence. Please do not download, reuse or redistribute them from this website unless you hold your own licence.
See the Wix terms of use: https://www.wix.com/about/terms-of-use
Official material. Where we reproduce legislation, official statistics or government publications, this is used under the Open Government Licence or as otherwise permitted by law, and credited at the point of use.
Quoted research. Third-party research is quoted under fair dealing and attributed to its author.
7. Takedown notice
If you find our work being used without permission, please tell us. Send the URL or a screenshot to info@kulturalism.org.
If you believe any content on this website infringes your copyright, contact us immediately with details of the material, where it appears, and confirmation that you hold the rights. We will investigate and remove infringing material in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. We aim to respond within 10 working days.
8. Consequences of violation
Kulturalism CIC actively protects its intellectual property.
Unauthorised use, reproduction, adaptation or misrepresentation of our content, our name or our trade marks may amount to:
copyright infringement under sections 16 to 27 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988
trade mark infringement under section 10 of the Trade Marks Act 1994
passing off at common law
Section 10 of the Trade Marks Act 1994 covers the use of an identical mark on identical services; the use of an identical or similar mark on identical or similar services where there is a likelihood of confusion, including a likelihood of association; and the use of an identical or similar mark which takes unfair advantage of, or is detrimental to, the distinctive character or repute of a mark with a reputation in the United Kingdom. Use includes use in advertising, on business papers, and as a company or trading name.
Where we identify unauthorised use, we may require its immediate removal, request an undertaking not to repeat it, and pursue the remedies available to us — including an injunction, damages or an account of profits, and delivery up or erasure of the infringing material. In cases of flagrant infringement, additional damages may be sought under section 97(2) of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
Where infringement is unintentional, we would usually rather resolve it directly. Contact us at info@kulturalism.org and we will tell you what we need.
